Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is the lead agency for Part C early intervention in California.

California Department of Education (CDE) is DDS' partner agency in the implementation of Part C early intervention in California. CDE is lead agency for local educational agencies serving children with solely low incidence disabilities.

California Early Intervention Technical Assistance Network (CEITAN) at WestEd Center for Prevention and Early Intervention (CPEI) coordinates the Comprehensive System of Personnel Development in partnership and under contract with DDS.
