In California, drowning is the leading cause of deaths among infants and toddlers, and near-drowning incidents can result in life-long disabilities. The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the Drowning Prevention Foundation have developed a simple, easy-to-read poster and infographic to help raise awareness on this issue and remind adults caring for young children that drowning is preventable. Download and print these materials for your home, office, or lobby to share important information about drowning prevention.
